Do electric fireplaces give off any fumes or gases?

No, electric fireplaces do not emit any fumes, CO2, smoke, emissions, or any pollutants.

Does the glass front of an electric fireplace get hot?

No, the glass front always remains cool to the touch and is perfectly safe for children and pets. The heating element is separate from the flame effect area and is located above the glass.

Is there much maintenance with electric fireplaces?

All electric fireplaces now contain LED bulbs, which last up to 25,000 hours and will not need replacement during the lifetime of the fireplace. LED bulbs are also more energy efficient and use less electricity.

Can the fireplace turn on without heat?

Yes, all electric fireplaces can be switched on without turning on the heater. The heating unit operates as a separate module from the internal flames; therefore, you can enjoy the cozy flames without the heat.

How are your electric fireplaces shipped?

All electric fireplaces will be prepared and package for safe shipment. Due to the size and handling required, electric fireplaces shipments will be shipped through LTL carriers.

Is it possible to purchase your fireplaces without the heating element?

No, however all our fireplaces can be operated with or without heat through independent and remote controls.

Do you need any permits to install your electric fireplaces?

No specific permits are necessary for installation, but It is recommended that a certified electrician or contractor be called if you are installing a direct wired built-in fireplace.


How large of an area will my electric fireplace heat?

Our electric fireplaces can function as a supplemental heat source for rooms from 400 square feet to 800 square feet. Please check the details of each product for the specific coverage area.

Are electric fireplaces energy efficient?

Yes, most electric fireplaces operate on 110/120V electric current and use approximately 1500 Watts per hour, at full power. Your utility charges you based your Kilowatt usage per hour (kw/h). Multiply your cost per Kilowatt-hour by 1.5 to determine the maximum cost per hour to operate your electric fireplace. For example, 1500 Watts is equal to 1.5 kw/h. The flame effect also uses very little power and costs just a few cents per hour.

Manual controls are also on each unit, located on the front, side or back, depending on the fireplace model.
